Course Description

This course provides students with a case study that examines a relicted lake and the available apportionment methods. Students must utilize their knowledge and experience, the 2009 Manual, in addition to “Public Lands Surveying, A Casebook“, to pass a course test.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Given a relicted lake with the need to apportion the relicted portion, apply the five accepted methods of apportionment.
  • Given the results of the five apportionment methods, evaluate the results and select the appropriate method.
