Appellants (Lot 1 Owners) – Protested 1961 Survey

These two islands of 3.29 acres and 15.03 acres, were surveyed by the BLM in 1961 as having been omitted in the original survey, although the 1848 plat did show two unsurveyed islands lying in approximately the same position with respect to Lot 1.

Lot 1, as part of the mainland, was patented in 1854, belonged to the appellants and was the basis of their claim that the islands were included in the Lot 1 patent.
