Dating Evidence
In all of the island cases just mentioned, it is apparent that existence as of certain dates is a prime consideration.
Dating evidence usually falls into one or more of three categories:
- Vegetation
- historical/technical data
- geology
This last category includes:
- land forms
- soil composition
- land elevations
